Join me for a few hours each week from late February until early April in Wendell, MA and learn this centuries old sustainable harvest from beginning to end.
We’ll be tapping sugar maples in Wendell MA, and boiling the sap off in a timber frame sugar shack over a wood fired evaporator until the run stops in late March or early April. Best of all, you get to keep a portion of the “crop”- pure, sweet maple syrup from stately trees.
